You Just Can't Believe Everything you Read....

Published 12 months ago • 1 min read

Hello again, Healthy Living / Truth Seeking Friend,

Years ago, I was reading a book about Healthy Teeth, and the author said something that threw me for a loop.

I was much nearer to the beginning of my healthy living journey and was using a fluoride-free, natural toothpaste, but the author of the book said that if there was GLYCERIN in my toothpaste, then it was coating my teeth and preventing them from remineralization. 😲

You can imagine how I felt heading running to the bathroom to check the label on my toothpaste--only to find the dreaded 8 letter word staring at me in Black and White.

GLYCERIN 🙀

It's been a long time since that day, and I've gone back and forth on the glycerin in toothpaste thing, not knowing what to think.

Now I do.

I dug and dug to find the answer to this thing, ran into road blocks a few times, but finally I feel good about what I've decided.

And now you can get the detes on the serious science (and I don't mean biased stuff backed by either glycerin companies or toothpaste companies either). It's actually super interesting if you geek out on this stuff like I do.

And if you don't geek out on it, you can skim the post and know what to do with your toothpaste.

I'd love to hear whether you're going to Toss Your Toothpaste or not. (That would be a fun hashtag, eh?) #TossYourToothpaste.

Of course, it might have to be #Don'tTossYourToothpaste - but Hit REPLY and tell me which hashtag you'd use after reading the post.

I'd love to hear what you think but feel free to reach out about anything at all.

I hope to be back in your inbox real soon.

Warmly, and with a side of toothpaste (not telling if it has glycerin in it or not...you'll have to read the post to find out 😉)....

~ Adrienne

P.S. I'll be updating you all with updates on my son's hurt ankle too - appreciate prayers! I'm throwing EVERYTHING at it (well, no toothpaste, LOL), and he's healing really fast. Can't wait to share all that we did, but it does include the phototherapy patches I've mentioned before. If you'd like to chat about those just hit REPLY. ♥️ Oh and I didn't forget about house stuff too. It's been a year. Or two.

P.S. If someone forwarded this to you, you can read a bit of our miraculous healing story and subscribe for updates here.

Hello there, Healthy Living Friend! I'm trying out a new format for my emails - I'd love to hear what you think! We got a reprieve in the HOT DRY weather we were having and now there's a bit of chill in the air. I love it, since it was sooo hot. I'm still working on helping my son get back on his foot, clearing up our mucked up backyard, etc., and just trying to get things settled now that he's getting more mobile and I'm not running marathons around the house to get him All. The. Things!He's...

Hello there, Healthy Living Friend, It's so not a good feeling when you read that something you've been eating to be healthier turns out to NOT be so healthy--or even deadly?! In case you didn't see it, there's a study is in the news that's apparently links ERYTHRITOL AND HEART DISEASE. Scary stuff. I admit being concerned (I mean, who wouldn't be, right?). I use erythritol fairly often for baking, even though I don't bake as much these days. But I like it! But I had to put my big girl...
